BNI and Referral Institute would suggest an investment in three networks as part of developing those relationships in your Referral Marketing Plan:
1) an open membership networking organization (a Chamber of Commerce)
2) a community organization you are committed to (a charity or place of faith)
3) a non-competing, closed category referral group (a BNI chapter)
When Verispect was founded the first thing we did was become a member in the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and find a BNI chapter as part of our plan to grow our business - and it has worked!
